John Kroeger joins Red Redemption Advisory Board
Posted by Wade "TNT" Hinkle, 344 days ago Oct 07, 2008

Red Redemption the world leader in ethical on-line games is delighted to announce that John Kroeger has joined its advisory board. Mr Kroeger was co-head of the UK Government team of Business Relations Managers to the Computer Games Industry for the then Department of Trade and Industry, until June this year. He was a senior executive for Reuters Ltd in variously Denmark, Sweden and the UK for nearly twenty tears, including a period of secondment to the DTI during which he produced an Action Plan for Growth for the Digital Content Sector which led to the creation of the Digital Content Forum. It was during the creation of this plan that Mr Kroeger was also able to convice the UK government of the importance of the UK games sector and to develop ways for the government to engage with that sector.

Mr Kroeger who runs his own consultancy KroLic Co. Ltd, is a naturalised UK citizen. He was born in the USA and studied Fine Arts at Boston University where he received a BFA for sculpture. He has lived in 6 countries since 1976, but looks forward to moving to his home in the Lyon suburb of St Didier, Mont d’ Or when he retires where one of his main pursuits will be to learn to speak French.

Red Redemption’s Managing Director and Founder Gobion Rowlands comments; ‘I am delighted to welcome John Kroeger to our Advisory Board. This is a period of strategic opportunity for Red Redemption and we are strengthening our leadership talent pool to take full advantage of the possibilities ahead of us. Mike Lehrter joined our full board last week and we anticipate making another announcement in the near future.’
