Dawn of War II Review (PC)

When I first heard that Relic was creating a Dawn of War II I was as giddy as a school girl. I loved the first Dawn of War. It was every Warhammer 40k enthusiast’s dream come true, finally a game that truly brought to life all the detail and scenery of the 51st millennium, as morbid as that may actually be.
I played the beta, and really liked what I saw, even if it was only multiplayer. It was obvious that the game held a ton of potential. However, I have always enjoyed the plots and stories of RTS games more so than than playing other players, and with the deep story that the original DOW had I was most looking forward to the Campaign mode.
The campaign starts with you having just achieved the rank of commander in the Blood Ravens chapter. At the start of the game you only have one Tactical squad and your commander unit to use. As you advance the storyline you acquire additional squad types.
