Finally a simulation game that’s making progress into the 21st century. Not only do you get to be a driver of the trains, but you can create your own routes for trade and commuting and share them online with other train lovers. Just make sure you don’t de-rail and drivers who lose passengers lose their jobs. |
| Our Rating for Trainz Simulator 2009: World Builder Edition Review (PC) | |
| 6.0 | Replay At first I didn’t think that I would want to pick this up again but something about making that train glide along the rails did relax me in a weird kind of way. |
| 5.5 | Graphics Not perfect, a little more detail could have been put into the landscapes though certainly no missing detail in the trains and cargo. |
| 7.0 | Sound The sound was definitely not annoying in anyway shape or form loved playing with the horn and certainly felt relaxed by the train moving over the track certainly complimentary |
| 8.0 | Gameplay A variety of things to do and multiple modes made the gameplay variable and good for both novice and hardcore sim fans. |
| 5.0 | Multiplayer/Online Content Not really any multiplayer but some online sharing of routes is possible. Could definitely be improved and expanded. |

Overall Fun for those trainspotter out there and not too bad as a sim game in general. Lots of detail missing in the graphics and lacks multiplayer. Definitely a niche game |
