Although this game isn’t a block buster movie in the box office Steven Spielberg has most certainly not lost his touch when it comes to getting people together to have a great night in. Only this time your not staring at the box, your interacting with it, competing and socialising with friends at the same time. That’s right EA LA and Steven Spielberg have made and awesome tag team  bringing you the newest in the line of Boom Blox with Boom Blox Bash Party.

This version of the game compared to the original offer’s hours upon hours of game play with an enormous 400 levels of block busting puzzle fun. Its not just the usual jenga style block removal. There’s many different variations of the theme some involving sling shots, bowling balls, and even bombs all with the aim of knocking down the blocks or smashing the slabs in so many moves to complete the level. There are even levels which show similar comparison to the bejewelled franchise with its own original twist of course. Each stage also offers its own original set of tools with some being set in outer space, a Peruvian style environment and underwater. Different types of physics that add to the challenge set before you. especially new virus blocks and sliding blocks which make it impossible to know which move to make next show that the game really has evolved beyond previous versions.
