Any title with a man or woman holding a gun quickly gets my attention.  I grab the green case and proceed to the game room.  With the controller in hand I bring the Xbox 360 to life.  After only a few minutes I know this will be a very long night.  Being a videogame critic at times can be frustrating.  Only to be excited about an up-coming game, and be let down by average to poor graphics, sounds, animations, etc...  This is a good example of this being true.

The storyline of this third person shooter takes place after a 40 year extension to the civil war.  The extended part came because of Prescott Standard Industries (PSI) supplied both sides with steampunk weaponry.  PSI’s mission is to restore order by crushing all that stands in front of them.  This leads us to the main character in this game Hamilton Rourke.  A veteran in this war turned rebel after a defeat that got his men slaughtered.  His main mission in life at this point is to defeat PSI and find his lost fiancée that went missing during the war.  During your travels in the game you will not be alone.  There are several characters that will accompany you, and run into during game play.  You will meet Yakecan (native woman wanting revenge after her people were slaughtered), Professor Cahrles Winslow (inventor framed for treason and now one of the leaders of Rourke’s rebels), William Dean Prescott (CEO of PSI), and Selena (PSI Lieutenant that only loves herself) to name a few.

Our Rating for Damnation Review (Xbox 360)
3.0
Replay
With so much lacking I must say a replay is not in order.
4.5
Graphics
Break out the can it’s needing a lot of polish.
4.5
Sound
The best I can say is the slightly below average sounds will make it points.
5.0
Gameplay
Non-Fluid controls and wasted ammo make it a long night with a good story line.
5.0
Multiplayer
Multiplayer and online play is a option but it fails to draw you into it.
5.0
Overall
Seeing is believing, and believing is playing, and playing is renting on this game.
