11 bit? Are you guys saying you’re a couple bits short of two bytes or just more than a byte? (jokingly)
Grzegorz Miechowski: Eleven bit: Well, bits are always even like 4-bit, 8-bit and so on while eleven is unpaired, so 11-bit is something strange. By 11-bit we want to point out the unusual character of the team. As independent developer we create personal games, and personal here means that we create our very own ideas, and we love developing it.
[GDN] "high-value, high-quality, digitally-distributed
games..."Does that mean PC only or are you looking at the consoles like PS Minis, XBLA, Wiiware or will it be a more mobile-oriented company?
Good question. PC is just one of the platforms we do games for. When designing our technology the goal was to make it multiplatform technology and so we did. When a game prototype is being discussed, we focus on what kind of platform the gameplay would fit to. When we see that a game may be really cool for iPhone, we do it for iPhone.
[GDN] What are some of the games that people will recognize in the team member portfolio?
THEY, Infernal, Odium (Gorky 17), Starmageddon (Project Earth), Knight Rider 2 and others.
