Stand O’ Food 3 Review (iOS)

Item reviewed: Stand O`Food 3 on iPhone

After making his food chain successful in his hometown Ronnie the chef decides it’s time to branch out his food franchise to tinsel town offering the star struck population some tasty fast food in the way of his burger, lasagna and cake restaurants he scatters around the city.

stand o food 3 -gameplay

In this fast paced time management game you need to keep your customers happy by making up their orders from the conveyor belts of ingredients as well as keeping them satisfied with side orders as quickly as possible. As customers walk into the restaurant you can see their orders (which include side orders) appear in a thought bubble above their heads as well as a meter depicting their depleting happiness as they wait to be served. Orders consist of a base a variety of sauces and a multitude of toppings you are given a choice of sauces which best accompany the dish you are preparing. Like all restaurants once your working day is over you need to replenish your stocks making sure you have the right ingredients for the next day more ingredients means more satisfied customers and more money which helps you upgrade your diners and earns you more points.

Compared to the first game in this series the graphics have been greatly developed on the drawings are finer and a lot more attention to detail has been paid rather than the computer generated like look from the original Stand O’ Food game as you will be able to tell. The music varies with each level that you play and I don’t find it distracts from the game itself, as well the sound effects work well with the movement of the main character and his actions.

The controls are simple enough also clicking in order on the ingredients to layer up to the final completed dish of each order, sometimes things can get confusing but that’s not a game fault as the genre of game states time management and organisation is everything, looking at your order and finding the most efficient way to make the dish will have you winning all the way, GDN Silvereven unlocking achievements to post onto Facebook with a simple sign in at the main menu of the game.

This game is fun and fast just like fast food should be its levels get extra challenging as you progress through the game due to more customers and more complicated recipes for you to make up, I strongly recommend if you are a fan of G4 entertainment games as a whole or even if you are new to this genre of game it won’t leave you disappointed and will keep you entertained for days. It certainly has me.
