Did you have fun as Guybrush Threepwood as you explored Monkey Island? Did lead Jolly Rover on his quest to become a pirate? If so, then you may enjoy Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle.captain Morgane

Captain Morgane (pronounced like the rum) is the newest point-click pirate adventure to hit the market. You take the role of Morgane Castillo, the daughter of a successful pirate. Starting out young and growing up, the game follows her life from doing house hold chores as a child to embarking on an epic quest with her dad to save a lost friend. And while I do love pirate games, this one is hit and miss at points.

Captain Morgane and The Good

The first thing I noticed about the game was the gorgeous visuals. All of the characters in the game are 3D CG models, but the environments are very well drawn 2D backgrounds with slight animation. Hats off to the artist who worked on this project.

captain morgane looks great!

I also enjoyed the depth of the 2 levels that they included. Typically there was only one way to accomplish the task at hand, but it could be figured out easily enough. Just collect the items that you need, combine them and watch the action.
