Hector: Badge of Carnage Episode 2 Review (Windows PC)

Well, you performed several task to appease a terrorist and ended up standing in a room with a gun aimed at your head. That’s the cliffhangerhector 2 carnage of gaming where gamers where tragically left at when Episode 1 of Hector: Badge of Carnage concluded. Picking up where we left off, Episode 2 is the next chance that we have to resume Hector and Lambert’s quest to stop a terrorist from wreaking havoc on the town of Clapper’s Wreake.

Hector Story

Episode 2 starts with a short recap of Episode 1. So here you are standing in a room, gun aimed at your head, and no way out. So you must figure out how to get out of this sticky situation. When you escape and you think you made it home free, the building blows up. All of your faithful friends from the police SWAT team, thinking you are dead, have abandoned you leaving only Lambert to search for you.

hector episode 2 is..wanting in many areas

After giving a shopping cart to a hooker, untying a guy trapped in the trunk of a car, and adopting an orphan amputee, you are able to blow up a toilet and escape the rubble. Traveling first to the forensics lab to gather some intel on a few clues. As you explore the city hoping to find clues to uncover the identity of the terrorist, you eventually come across a shipment of buttons going to Barnsely Noble (the terrorist). When you go to where you last saw Barnsely you find an open manhole cover. Inside you find his secret plans and Barnsely knocks you out. THE END.

Point click games are all about a good story, and this one just doesn’t have it.
5.0 Graphics
Pretty much the same quality of every other Telltale game. Nothing new here.
6.0 Sound
A little repetitive at times, but a nice soundtrack.
4.0 Gameplay
Episode 2 is really short and in the end leaves you wanting something better.

4.5 Overall
It’s just not that great, but hey it comes with the game so just enjoy Episode 1, bear with 2, and fall in love with 3.
