Alawar Games (the makers of Rescue Team 2 and 
Vampires vs. Zombies) brings you another Casual game designed to eliminate that “hurry up and win” mentality frequently found in resource management and RTS titles. After you enter your Player Name, the keyboard work ends.
The player is cast as a Pioneer Wife, telling her tale to children that presumably wondered into her lavish parlour. Some simple tutorial levels play out guiding you through collecting lumber, clearing paths, constructing Municipal Buildings to serve your Residents, and eventually building Churches, Inns, and Saloons.
Play is simple as you click on the map to direct your workers to their tasks. Sometimes a provided structure needs to be demolished to best reach your “Star” goals. Levels get more complicated and lead to new building types. Along the way the game sucks you in with mellow twangy music, and easy play style.
