Key Features:
Available for the first time in America in February, the Roccat Kone+ is a gaming mouse for hard core gamers.  The 6000 DPI laser, 20g weight tuning system, full rubber coating, and low friction mouse feet make this a perfect mouse for FPS gamers, while the easy-to-use software and 22 programable buttons with the use of Roccat’s Easy-Shift technology give MMO players the edge that they need.  It is also pleasing cosmetically with its “ThunderCat-esqe” logo and 4 individually programmable LEDs.  The Kone+ also sports a truly unique feature in that the mouse does not DPI indicator lights, but rather a pleasant voice that will tell you of DPI changes though your speakers so that you never have to take your eyes off the screen.  Last but certainly not least, Roccat’s customer support proved to be great and on the par with Logitech’s.

Who Needs It:
GDN recommends the Kone+ to any hardcore gamer.  Whether you want a lot of buttons, a superior sensor, or a company who stands behind their products, the Roccat Kone+ is for you.
