2K games had the best one-two punch at GC Leipzig in my eyes. This is the Left Hook of that combo. The presentation was so cool that I thought I would just post the audio as well so here it is. Let’s have like 1,000 shotguns!

No, that is not a typo in the title. I did not hit an extra zero or three. They do have in fact over 100,000 guns in the game thanks to the way they are procedurally generated. That is more guns than all previous Xbox 360 and PS3 games combined.

This means that even the developers have not seen all the guns. So during the demo there were many times when we heard "Dude, what the hell type of gun is that?!" and "Hey, switch to that gun and see what it does," and these were the guys helping to make the game playing.

Plug-in, power-up

OK, so Borderlands is a third-person shooter. But additionally it’s a rich and interesting world. The game also incorporates some RPG elements with a leveling system and experience points.

The game takes place on Planet Pandora and offers up co-operative gameplay and free-roaming exploration. Along the way you’ll not only see unique areas but you’ll meet unique NPCs that will offer you quests, information and items.
