Graphically this game really is pretty amazing. The detail of the worlds and textures within the game is captivating to the true atmosphere of the shroom like world that Pax and his tribe come from. With dark scenarios coming to life with bright magic and human junk. Although the movement is pretty tricky it is actually very smooth when Pax takes a blow to the head a piece of his cap comes off and his brain is exposed. Even parts of dead rats have a stand out not only because they can be used to provide Pax with more energy but because they do look slightly gross. The sound effects does add humor to the game with the almost Flemish language of the mushroom people themselves to the utter unembarrassed flatulence of Pax himself. There is nothing that didn’t compliment the game play in anyway from the rain falling to the battle noises nothing at all sounded like it was out of place and a game that can make you laugh has always got to be a good thing

This game does offer a lot of replay value for me and for the first in the possible franchise its already a pretty cool game but could be improved upon I wasn’t too impressed with the co-op mode it didn’t offer too much in the way of getting more than one person involved in the game unless you needed help solving a puzzle problem or keeping you healed while you fight away against evil shrooms. The controls could also be greatly improved on but other than that its a pretty cool game especially if you prefer your platform games anyone used to playing things like crash bandicoot or ratchet and clank this would be a different game to add to your collection and should certainly keep you entertained for a fair amount of hours. imp pretty interested to see how this can be improved upon and look forward to the second part of the franchise if there will be such a thing an investment worth making by the gamer and developer I feel.

Our Rating for Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars Review (Wii)
9.9
Replay
A game that’s either good for racing to the end to complete within hours or taking time to
explore the various worlds available to your 2 inch dude
7.0
Graphics
Being able to compete with some of the best wii games out on the scene at the moment the amount
of detail really does not disappoint
7.0
Sound
The sound effects really add the charm to this game with the shroom men having their own language and even the pitter patter of the rain on pipes and puddles works well with the great and not too annoying game sound track
6.5
Gameplay
Movement, combat and annoying camera controls don’t make this the easiest to get to grips with but once you get to it its not so bad. within the game there’s plenty for the gamer to think about
5.5
Multiplayer
There is an opportunity to play in co-op mode so that your shroom can get some extra help with
solving puzzle of extra health. This mode is only useful if your stuck and you need a helping hand
7.5
Overall
This is a pretty cool game and does add something different in the way of platform gaming for Wii. There are some aspects of it that could be improved on within the game strategically and with the combat controls but its a fun game none the less and certainly something to add to your platform collection
