’Ghost town’ games: Several titles on Xbox Live, be they retail or Arcade releases, are completely devoid of players. In some cases the reason is obvious since the game in question sucks. However, some games are genuinely fun but have been overlooked, or players have moved on due to the passage of time. It doesn’t have to be this way, though. I’ve started a forum thread where you can propose some games that you’d like to play on Live but haven’t found anyone to do so with.
I imagine the initial turnouts will be limited, but hopefully it will be enough to get some games going. Any game you can play over Xbox Live is fine to nominate, and hopefully others interested in that title will speak up to back up your suggestion, at which point you can get in touch with one another and schedule a time to play. This isn’t a contest, there will not be a ’game that wins the vote,’ it’s about getting as many unjustly forgotten games some play-time as you want.
Hopefully things will be more coherent next week. I apologize; I’ve been struggling to get DS reviews done... on a DS that is dying. I find it ironic that my DS is giving me more trouble than my 360, but oh well.
