Majesty 2: Battles of Ardania Expansion Review (PC)

This idea of trial and error level completion is clearly there to extend the lifespan of the expansion and although I was more than happy to retry some of the levels, it is quite possible, if not probable, that some people will get more than a little annoyed at this aspect. There were one or two occasions when I was completely perplexed as to how I was supposed to continue in a level but in the end with a little tweaking, and this is literally sometimes the smallest change, it is always possible to win through.
The multiplayer is once again more of the same but with some added cooperative play which although adds a new dimension, isn’t all that much of a change. It is worth a play though if you need a break from the single player campaign, you never know, it might make you realize where you were going wrong in the past.
As far as expansions go, Battles of Ardania doesn’t exactly add anything new to the Majesty 2 game, but if you were a fan of the original and are happy to shell out for what is essential more levels of the same game then I wholeheartedly advise you to go for it. If you’re new to the game then have a play of the original first, because if you don’t like certain aspects of that then this expansion is not going to fix any of that for you.
