The Agency is Recruiting, Are you Ready?
Posted by Christophor SuperGuido Rick, 136 days ago

Locations:

The Agency is promising to have some cool locations. I say cool because one of the hub cities in the game is Prague and I have been helping Kevin O’Hara, Senior Designer at SOE, around town to get what he needs on film to take back for the modelers and dev teams. No I didn’t pump him for insider info on the game. I know; I’m a terribly lazy journalist sometimes.

There are some really interesting aspects about The Agency that I quite like and I think will give it a cool niche. When you start out you choose which agency to join and then move on to start completing missions. The competition is friendly and so while you can PvP against them you don’t have to and at times might even have to team up.

The second location (at launch) will be in Panama. Prague is fairly exotic if you have never been here. Modern architecture stands juxtaposed with 13th century structures that have withstood World Wars, floods, and more for centuries. OK enough of me pumping my home and on to the game.

There are to be large open areas in the game where you will be able to see loads of other players so you can see what they’re wearing, carrying or doing etc and even party up with them.

This seems like an amazingly cool concept. I’ve been craving a MMO Espionage game for a while now so it’s nice to finally see one in the works. I almost jumped with glee when I read you can change outfits to become a medic. No more waiting for a high enough level priest!!!

This game really looks like it’s going to have some unique gameplay elements and such. I think the guys at SOE really have some great ideas.
