Have Gun Will Travel. If not Kill Someone and Get the Gun
When you see an NPC using something and you want it, kill them and take their stuff. As you’ll hear in the presentation audio, what you see is what you get. Take out the guy with the cool gear to get the cool gear. No more random item dropping when NPCs are killed.
The game has not only a story-driven, main quest series, but it also has various side quests that will allow you to pick up experience and equipment along the way but are not necessary obviously. Just the narrative would be about 12 or 13 hours of gameplay.
There is no crafting of weapons in the game; I mean do you really need it with over 100,000 guns in the game already? You can always find some other gun that you like more than the one you have or that is better.
Like I said, there are so many cool things in this title that I have given you the sound clip so you can hear them play and listen to the presentation while you read along. Either way, I suggest you listen to the presentation so that you understand just how cool the game is because even the developers were psyched about it. Beware the language at times.
This game makes me want to go and play shooting games all day. I can still see glimpses of the game in my mind’s eye especially when they switched seats on the fly in the vehicle between gunner and driver positions. That was just awesome.
