Anne Reviews: CellZenith

Posted by Anne ScotchGuard Ross,

Being a bit of a girl I don’t indulge in action shooters often but I found this a very enjoyable and quite addictive game to play.  Once I got to grips with not getting myself blown to smithereens every couple of minutes, I really got in to this to the point where I was playing it into the early hours of the morning without noticing the passage of time.  Survival to the end of a level does seem a daunting task to begin with, with enemies coming at you from every direction so you do have to be smart with your strategy in this game, which is why I found it an enjoyable game to play as it wasn’t just mindless destruction. You will have to use the old gray matter to figure out what your tactics are going to be at the beginning of each level.

The slick graphics and cool futuristic sounds just added to my enjoyment of the game, though I can’t remember the background music to the game, which is a testament to how far I got sucked into the game.   It is an engrossing and thoroughly enjoyable game to play.  The controls are fairly easy to master once you get to grips with the fact that everything under the sun is trying to shoot at you!!

This is a game that I will go back to and play and play. It is a fast-paced, action-packed game with lots to offer the player and it isn’t bad value for money either, which is always music to a Scottish girl’s ear.
