The first I noticed is the low streamline look it has, this mouse looks like it could go in a wind tunnel and pass with flying colors,(no pun intended). Sitting on the desk just looks good and almost intimidating with the shape and the neon glowing green (you can choose from, red, blue and green). The glowing Razer logo which goes in and out gives the mouse a whole other "mean" look to it in the dark.
Using the mouse doesnt disappoint, with all the buttons seeming to be where they needed to be. Someone took their time designing this one. The shape itself seemed like it was made to fit the natural feel of my hand, hours upon hours of gaming, I never once had hand or wrist fatigue.
The sensitivity of the laser was amazing, as first I felt like the arrow was flying across the screen, yet the mouse as a whole didn’t effect the speed. Meaning when I stopped to go the other way, it responded very well, without any hesitate or lag. Just to give you a point of reference we ranged from America’s Army to Inca Ball, in other words a diverse genre range.
The main buttons are super responsive, along with the padding on them was actually what I noticed the most about the Copperhead. No matter what game I played every click was registering without hesitation, which is something I’ve had problems with in the past, though to be honest I didn’t realize this until after I used the Copperhead. I guess I have always just figured it was the game itself, and never contributed it to the mouse.
Customizing and the adusting the drivers were very well laid out. Though some of these maybe over the head
of the average gamer, I can’t sit here, saying that this was designed for your average player. Though within a reasonable amount of time I’m sure almost anyone would be able to figure out what they were doing. Even as the "stock" adjustment I had to slow the mouse down a bit.
Overall the Razer Copperhead mouse is superbly designed, and was a pleasure to use. My only complaint was that the darn thing still has this thing called wires to it. That is so 2005. It has stood the test of time and still stands as one of the elite gaming mice, and is a pleasure to use. Next time I see you on the battlefield, be careful cuz you just might be bitten by the Copperhead. (that might even be my new nickname)
Overall Score: 9 / 10
