Iguana Entertainment is the development team behind many of the Acclaim classics and conversions, including Turok and the Acclaim Sports lineup. At the heights of Acclaim’s run, Iguana was acquired by Acclaim Entertainment and became Acclaim Studios Austin. The studio also had in 1993 acquired Optimus Software Ltd (aka Iguana UK, or Acclaim Studios Teesside.)

Iguana Entertainment The studio that was Iguana Entertainment tumbled down with the financial failure of Acclaim, but Iguana UK studio boss Darren Falcus reinstated the business as Iguana Entertainment Limited, a development studio for casual entertainment titles.
