Originally called Two Guys Software, the company changed its name to XrucifiX in 2005, partly because the team grew beyond two guys, but also because the team desired to strengthen its commitment as a faith-based gaming developer. Although religion does play its part in the development team’s plans, XrucifiX’s games are not necessarily meant just for faith-seeking audiences, and play in gaming’s most popular genres, with titles including the multiplayer online action RPG Eternal War: Nightmares.
