So it came to my attention that zamunda.net was hotlinking to all of our Elven Legacy images.

Now, GDN is happy to offer up images for your own use. However, when it gets excessive and begins to cause problems with the site and service, actions will be taken. Today that was the case with this zamunda.net who slammed GDN with over 10,000 hits to our Elven Legacy gallery. I’m not exactly sure what they’re doing or why, but it had to be stopped. It was disrupting the service for everyone.

So now that site is blacklisted by GDN. No referrals from that site will be accepted. In fact it prompted me to block all hotlinking to images which I am in the process of implementing. I just thought I would update you all so that you knew that GDN was fine and that the service problems are being resolved.
