Gamer Doc, the retail video game store franchise that delivers a new and interactive customer experience, today announced that it will award a $4,000 USD cash prize to the winning four-man team in its first Open Class International Halo 3 Tournament. The winning teams from the Gamer Doc stores in Bear, Delaware; Burlington, Ontario; Highland Park, California; and Springfield, Pennsylvania will compete on Saturday, May 30 at 7:30 p.m. ET for the winner-take-all grand prize of $4,000 USD.

Registration is now open at each Gamer Doc location, and there is a $50 USD entry fee per team. The last day to register for the tournament is Friday, April 24. Double-elimination in-store tournaments begin on Friday, May 1, with the final store winners determined on Saturday, May 16. Two weeks later, the winning team from each Gamer Doc will compete in the international store-to-store, single-elimination tournament for cash prizes.

In addition to the $4,000 USD grand prize, a cash prize of $1,000 USD will be awarded to the second place team, and the third place team will win $500 USD. Players who are under the age of 18 must have a signed parental consent form to enter. Complete tournament rules and regulations are available at Gamer Doc stores.
