The 2029 Online Alpha release date has been set. The testing will start this coming Monday, May 24th at 10:00 pm EDT (GMT-4).

Testers need to be ready by downloading the official client. Testers can enter the game using their Alpha accounts.

Alpha testers should know that all character data will be wiped out after the test, so don’t get too attached to your characters. However, all the testers will receive a special elite weapon worth $50 during the Closed Beta that should more than make up for it.

To get off to a good start, IGG has left a small list to ensure you are ready for the Alpha testing.

• Make sure you have successfully downloaded the Alpha test client and installed it to your computer. To download the Alpha test client, click: http://2029.igg.com/download/client.php
• If you have installed the Alpha test client to your computer, click “start”. The client will be automatically updated to the latest version.
