Microsoft exclusive trivia series Scene It? is to become a multi-format game after Warner Bros. announced it has taken control of the title.

Originally announced as an Xbox 360 only title, Microsoft’s aim was to make it a real rival to Sony’s best-selling Buzz! series.

Scene It? Bright Lights! Bright Screen! will be released this Christmas for the PlayStation 3 and Wii, as well as the Xbox 360.

"The globally successful Scene It? brand and movie based trivia are a great fit for Warner Bros. as a games publisher and a film studio," said John Quinn, executive VP of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

"We are launching Scene It? Bright Lights! Big Screen! on a variety of videogame consoles to more widely offer its dynamic entertainment experience to the expanding casual videogame audience."
