Codemasters today released the ‘Jump Jam’ video, available at www.dirt2game.com. The pre-launch trailer features best-of-breed, officially licensed off-road vehicles competing in diverse disciplines at beautiful locations on the World Tour. From traditional Rally and point-to-point races to wheel-to-wheel, day-and-night circuit and stadium events, the action culminates in a dramatic finale as a Subaru Impreza WRX STI jumps over another at a spectacular mid-race crossover point.

As the critically-acclaimed game prepares to leap from store shelves next week, Ken Block, multi medal-winning Subaru Rally Team USA driver and Colin McRae: DiRT 2 Technical Consultant, will be wowing fans as he headlines this weekend’s Trax 2009 [www.traxshows.co.uk] at Silverstone, the legendary home of British Motorsport. The ‘DiRT 2 Ken Block Jump Jam’ will feature the stunt driving sensation taking on a death-defying 100 foot jump in front of thousands of spectators. Visitors to Trax 2009 will also have the chance to win special prizes as they take on a special multiplayer challenge to be held in the DiRT 2 Pit Stop Area, showcasing the ‘Last Man Standing’ 8 player head-to-head game mode.

Complete with full head-to-head competitive online play, get ready for the ultimate off-road competition when Colin McRae: DiRT 2 launches September 8th (US), 10th (EPAC), 11th (UK) for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION3 computer entertainment system, Wii, Nintendo DS and PSP (PlayStation Portable) system. A Games For Windows LIVE edition will follow with support for DirectX 11. For the latest news and videos, speed over to www.dirt2game.com or become a fan at www.facebook.com/dirt2game
