The country’s premier video game tour, Best Buy G3: Games, Gear & Gadgets, is launching its exciting new fall college tour at Boston College today. Over the next three weeks, the National Tour, which is presented by Best Buy and EA, is expected to reach thousands of videogame enthusiasts at 10 major colleges and universities. The game technology tour will feature the latest new videogames, game technology and digital music.

The 09 College Tour will showcase the interactive Best Buy LCD Gamers Lounge. Students will be able to visit the Best Buy Gamers Lounge and check out great games and new digital music technology demonstrations including the Beats by Dr. Dre Musical Instruments DJ Experience.

The G3 Tour will be featuring many of the hottest new Wii fall titles. EA titles on tour will be: The Beatles: Rock Band, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, Madden NFL 10, EA Sports Active, Need for Speed: Nitro, Grand Slam Tennis, Dead Space Extraction, My Sims Agents and Littlest Pet Shop Friends. Capcom will be offering up some zombie shooting action with Resident Evil: The Dark Chronicles. Ubisoft will be showcasing the exciting new Just Dance game. Activision will have newly released DJ Hero and Namco will be featuring the ever popular Tekken 6 at the Best Buy Gamers Lounge. Dell is also showcasing a unique Dell PC Experience and hosting gameplay of the new CrimeCraft game from THQ.

G3 reaches the core of the young adult game-playing audience - college students. These early adopters and game enthusiasts will get the first opportunity to play several newly released titles on Tour. The G3 Tour is now gaining traction with the world’s most successful Video and PC companies as a cutting edge showcase for new products and technologies.

The Best Buy G3 College Tour, also presented by EA, launches nationally today - October 26th - and runs through November 14th. The event is free admission.
