Get ready to fight a slew of enemies and find your inner hero in the Kamen Rider Dragon Knight video game from D3Publisher. Based on TheCW4Kids live action TV series that airs Saturday mornings, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is an intense action packed fighting game where players will have the opportunity to experience the exciting Kamen Rider adventure firsthand. Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is now available for Wii and Nintendo DS for the suggested retail price of $29.95.

“The Kamen Rider Dragon Knight videogame is the perfect companion to the TV series,” said Yoji Takenaka, president and chief executive officer, North America and Europe, D3P. “For fighting enthusiasts in general, the videogame is a fun and immersive fighter that is a great introduction to the Kamen Rider world but will take the fans of the license and viewers of the TV series even further into the story.”

Players will be able to assume the role of any of the 13 Kamen Riders including Dragon Knight and Wing Knight, each with their own unique Advent Cards and special abilities to take down opponents in a variety of maneuvers. Each Kamen Rider may take part in the action with multiple game modes allowing players to battle head-to-head or fight legions of enemies as they explore Ventara and stop the menacing plot of General Xaviax.

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight for Wii was developed by Eighting and is rated “T” (Teen – Violence) by the ESRB. The DS version was developed by Natsume and is rated “T” (Teen – Fantasy Violence) by the ESRB. For more information on the video game, please visit: http://www.d3publisher.us/.

I’m cautious about this. I tried a few Kamen Rider games as imports several years ago, and they turned out to be pretty awful. Maybe there are some good ones in the series, but the two I tried were just laughable.
