War of Titans, Browser-Based Ancient Roman Gladiatorial Combat

Bloody, relentless battles against lions, bears and powerful gladiators in the rough-and-tumble times of Ancient Rome – that’s what the battle of the Titans is all about. In War of Titans (http://www.war-of-titans.de), the sequel to Bigpoint GmbH’s successful browser game Gladius2, players explore different arenas in Ancient Italy where only the best gladiators will be able to survive and write history.

Overwhelming options

In comparison to Gladius2, War of Titans offers much more than just an upgrade in content: The riveting story leads players across different provinces into the remote corners of Ancient Europe with each new level.

Players can choose between four gladiators – and for the first time ever, there’s even a female gladiator called Achilla.

With each new level, the gladiator will become stronger, his/her inventory of items will expand, thus transforming him/her into a fearsome Titan.

Multiplayer fights with a mind-boggling 3D design

The fascinating world of gladiators can be explored in PvE quests carried out against computer-generated opponents who are much tougher to beat – thanks to a brand-new AI: NPCs react intelligently, change their weapons, form groups and are therefore much harder to anticipate. And you’re in for something more, you can compete against real opponents in PvP missions ... take heed though; your opponents know neither fear nor mercy!

The many highly detailed arenas are presented in very high-quality graphics. Using a special editor, every player can also build their own impressive arenas and open them up for other players to play in.

The official release date for German-speaking countries and the international market is planned for mid of December 2009.
