Alienware Gives Gamers First-Ever PC Gaming Season
Posted by Wade, 71 days ago May 14, 2008 20:38

Attention, gamers. You finally have an entire season dedicated to you. Alienware – the definitive name in PC gaming desktops and notebooks – is rolling out the inaugural PC Gaming Season, a two month party in your honor. Between now and the end of June, the Alienware Web site will be the key destination for an onslaught of Alienware-exclusive features geared specifically for the PC gamer.

For nine straight weeks Alienware is serving up…
•         Weekly spotlights on games, hardware and more
•         Game trailers for the hottest titles
•         Interviews with gaming industry experts
•         Video roundtable discussions on PC gaming
•         Special offers on Alienware systems
•         Offers and deals based on your gaming skills

If you really want to put your skills to the test, gamers can sign up for the PC Gaming Season 2008 Tournament. The best players will be rewarded not only with great prizes, but something even better – a no-holds-barred match against the Alienware staff for the ultimate bragging rights. Some great gamers work in these halls. If you think you have what it takes to go head-to-head with the best, bring it. Just don’t cry like a n00b when you spend the whole time respawning. Full tournament details, including registration information, will be released on June 2nd.

“Between hardware advancements and an avalanche of new game titles, the PC gaming industry is on fire right now,” says Bryan de Zayas, Associate Director for Product Marketing at Alienware. “Alienware developed PC Gaming Season to celebrate where the industry is today, in terms of technology and exciting new products, as well as where we’ll be tomorrow. And this is only the inaugural season. We’re just getting started.”

PC Gaming Season kicked off on May 5th and runs through June 30th. For more information, visit www.alienware.com/microsite/pc-gaming-season/pc-gaming-season.aspx.
