$100,000 The Strike and Hunt Champions Tournament

Giving players of all abilities plenty of time to practice and participate in one of the first-ever virtual hunting and fishing tournaments, Bass Pro Shops and its publishing partner, XS Games, today announced details of its $100,000 The Strike and Hunt Champions Tournament.

The two distinct tournament opportunities – one for hunters and one for fishermen – based on two new video games for the Nintendo Wii:  Bass Pro Shops The Hunt: Trophy Showdown and Bass Pro Shops The Strike: Tournament Edition.

Registration for the sweepstakes begins on December 5, 2011 and participants can enter by finishing either game to unlock a sweepstakes code, or by registering directly at www.xsgames.biz.  Five winners from each contest will be randomly selected and flown to the original Bass Pro Shops store in Springfield, MO on September 2, 2012 to go head-to-head.  The top 5 winners will receive:

First Prize  2012 Toyota Tundra 4x4 regular cab pick-up

Second Prize  2012 Tracker 175 TXW boat with trailer and motor

Third Prize  2012 Arctic Cat 550i GT

Fourth Prize  $5,000 Bass Pro Shops gift certificate
