New Sins of the Solar Empire MMO Coming?
There is a site up at SoadaGame.com which has been brought to our attention with the title of Are you Worthy?and a countdown timer with an email newsletter sign up. We’re pretty sure the note dropped in our inbox was to spur speculation as it’s also been added to the Wikipedia 
page for Ironclad games meaning it’s the company probably doing the leg work. So, let’s speculate!
According to the bottom of the page it’s part of Infinite Game Publishing (those behind the upcoming MechWarrior Online with Piranha Games) and Ironclad Games, the studio behind Sins of a Solar Empire.
So the big question is, will it be an MMO set in the Sins of the Solar Empire universe? There is definitely some appeal to that idea. It’s the only thing that Ironclad have worked on and they did a great job on it, so why not turn that franchise into an MMORTS? Why not also make it free-to-play and support it with microtransactions, etc?
It is a possibility but for the next 11 days all we’ll be able to do is speculate on what it is. It seems that on February 21st, at Noon Central there will be a change on that website and we’ll all find out what it is.
Who’s up for some Sins of the Solar Empire as an MMO?!
SOADA could be an acronym for something like Sins of a Dying Alliance, Start of a Dying Allegiance, Sons of a Dying Alliance. Soldier of a... Maybe Secrets of a Dying Alien?
If we use the most popular words in video game titles we might get something like:
Slayer of a Dragon Alien
Super Officer at Dragon Academy
Soldier of a Dragon Alliance
Or perhaps it’s just Sort Of A Dorky Acronym! Thoughts?
