Next Dungeons and Dragons Playtest Signups Begin
Wizards of the Coast has announced that, after gamer displeasure with the fourth edition of the popular pen and paper role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons, that they will work more closely with the community to create the next version.
It’s an exciting time for Dungeons & Dragons. We are happy to announce today that we are developing the next iteration of D&D, and will be looking to the legions of D&D fans to help shape the future of the game along with us.
The next year is going to be an exciting one. There is a lot of work to be done, and we’re hoping you have the time, energy, and inclination to pitch in. We sure hope you do, as we seek to make gaming history by shaping the future of D&D, together.
The D&D Next Team is already working on the basics of the game and Wizards held a major survey at D&D Experience and are poring over the results. Now they’re working on a seminar lineup for GenCon and are asking for player input on what kind of seminars they should hold there.
