GameStrata, the premier developer of community tools for gamers, today announced the addition of the Capcom® title Lost Planet: Extreme Condition COLONIES EDITION to their repertoire of supported games. Releasing to critical acclaim on May 27, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition COLONIES EDITION breaks ground in the genre by offering cross-platform online multiplayer for Xbox 360 and PC gamers.

“Colonies is an important step for the Lost Planet community; adding cross-platform support means a broader and more dynamic gaming experience,” said Lance Smith, CEO of GameStrata. “GameStrata will compliment that experience by providing all of the familiar metrics, offering players a host of statistics to measure their worth against friends and enemies alike in this definitive version of Lost Planet.”
In addition to the complete original game, Colonies includes a substantial amount of fresh content, including five new playable characters and four new multiplayer maps. Whether going for a personal best or trying to best an opponent, GameStrata users can keep track of their overall rank and awarded medals for each game type via a variety of leaderboards and graphing data.

Launched in January 2008, GameStrata incorporates a broad array of game-tracking tools to analyze player skills, enabling users to share their stats with friends and competitors. More than just keeping score, GameStrata’s extensive data analyses track every aspect of the game, from accuracy to favorite weapons in Battlefield 2 to longest note streak in Guitar Hero III. Currently GameStrata supports EA’s Battlefield 2, Capcom’s Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, SEGA’s The Club and Activision’s Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.
