PlayFirst Targets New Casual Gamers with Fashion Dash
Posted by Wade "TNT" Hinkle, 159 days ago Jun 19, 2008 10:24

PlayFirst, Inc., the leading publisher focused exclusively on casual games, today announced the release of Fashion Dash, the latest game in its award-winning series of DASH brand games. A classic DASH game with easy-to-learn but challenging-to-master time management mechanics, Fashion Dash is specifically designed to delight new casual gamers and devoted DASH fans alike.

"Our DASH games are deliciously addictive," says Kenny Shea Dinkin, vice president and creative director, PlayFirst, Inc. "We have devoted fans who come back again and again to sharpen their DASH skills and keep up with their favorite characters. Fashion Dash, which will satisfy those cravings, features traditional time-management gameplay that will also be accessible to people trying out a PlayFirst DASH game for the very first time."

Fashion Dash introduces the newest entrepreneur in Dinertown, Coco, a costume designer for the televised dance show Dancerrific who opens a series of clothing boutiques when the program goes bust. Her goal is to earn enough money to reunite her friends from Dancerrific, and gameplay is built around helping Coco run her boutiques. Players do everything from custom fittings to coat-hanger cleanup.

Featuring 50 levels of game-play and a new cast of characters, Fashion Dash is a fast-paced time-management game utilizing all of the chaining, seating, and customer appeasement skills featured in all DASH brand games.

PlayFirst also announced that Fashion Dash will be the second game featured in its new DASH Pass-a special promotion which allows consumers to pre-order all five summer DASH games at a significant discount.

Fashion Dash is now available for both Mac and PC. Play a free 60-minute trial or purchase the full-version for $19.95. For more information on the game or DASH Pass, or to purchase Fashion Dash, please visit http://www.playfirst.com/.
