To kick-off this fall’s football season, Xbox 360 players will win $10,000 in a Madden NFL 09 tournament hosted by GamerSaloon.com. The online tournament runs from September 1-19, 2008.

While Madden NFL 09 is expected to be released on August 12th, GamerSaloon.com CEO, Gabe Rubin, said, "This fresh version of Madden NFL will help level the playing field so players can put their video football skills to the test. We’re excited to make this our biggest tournament yet!"

The tournament registration fee is currently $10 but will increase as the start date approaches.
