Posted by Wade "TNT" Hinkle, 127 days ago Jul 21, 2008 08:53

The beta application period for OGPlanet’s upcoming side-scrolling massively multiplayer online game La Tale has now begun.

From now through Monday, July 21, would-be beta testers can apply for a spot in the La Tale beta test at http://latale.ogplanet.com/. Players must be OGPlanet members to register and those chosen to participate in beta testing will be notified beginning on July 22.

"The beta testing period will be the public’s first opportunity to get their hands on our newly localized version of La Tale," said Don Choi, COO of OGPlanet. "We’re eager to give the North American audience its first taste of this charming MMO, and to start hearing our players’ feedback and refining the game accordingly."

La Tale’s whimsical art style and detailed 2D worlds bring a lighthearted touch to the MMORPG genre, and have won it a large following in Asia. Simple gameplay and intuitive quests make La Tale accessible for players of all ages, while a large, immersive world promise hours of entertainment.

La Tale also offers various types of gameplay and customization, giving unique play styles to all types of gamers. Character customization options abound, and a variety of pets and accessories are available to further personalize each character. La Tale also offers a vibrant guild system includes beautifully designed Guild Rooms where players can grow crops and spend time with their guildmates, as well as a wide array of guild emblems to distinguish individual guilds.
