Vicious Cycle Software to Exhibit at Microsoft’s GameFest 2008
Posted by Wade "TNT" Hinkle, 40 days ago Jul 21, 2008 08:54

Vicious Cycle Software, a development studio and games technology provider, today announced that it would be exhibiting at Microsoft’s GameFest 2008 event in Seattle on July 21, 22 and 23. The company will be showing Vicious Engine 2 (Ve2), the latest version of their highly-regarded game development solution, with support for Xbox 360® and other current platforms.

“Moving into this generation of consoles, any game developer should feel compelled to consider developing for the Xbox 360, given its market penetration and technical capabilities,” said Wayne Harvey, chief technical officer of Vicious Cycle Software. “Ve2 gives 360 developers all the tools they need to create deep, gorgeous games with ease.”

Ve2 offers a suite of new and improved features on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, including an updated lighting engine, a redesigned animation blending component, and modern pixel shader technology, all optimized for current platforms.

The engine will be widely available to developers in late 2008, but the company is also currently looking for select early adopters who are interested in licensing Ve2 now. Interested parties are encouraged to contact licensing@viciousengine.com.

More information about the Vicious Engine and Ve2 is available at www.viciousengine.com.
