Sony Ericcson today announced a partnership with Zeemote, makers of the JS-1 Bluetooth gaming joystick. The companies are teaming up to launch the JS-1 in the Netherlands from 8 August to 31 October. Any purchase of a Sony Ericcson 3G mobile handset or the W760i Walkman will net you a mail in voucher for a free Zeemote JS-1.

The phones will come preloaded with two Zeemote Ready titles. You can purchase and download further titles from the Sony Fun & Downloads service as well.

The Zeemote JS-1 connects to your mobile handset via Bluetooth and offers 4 buttons, an analog joystick and a sturdy yet lightweight design of just 47 grams (1.7 ounces).

The Zeemote JS-1 promises to revolutionize mobile gaming by giving high quality controls to the mobile market.
