Cars was the number one selling kids video game brand, as well as the number two overall best selling video game in 2006. With this recent sales achievement, the title will now be available to a broader range of game players with the new suggested retail price of $19.99 throughout North America.

In addition to the recent achievement of these major sales milestones, THQ is expected to bring a new video game based on the highly successful Cars film to retail this fall. Cars Mater-National is scheduled to ship for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system and PlayStation 2 system, the Wii video game console, Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance and will offer a brand new racing competition set in the famed animated world of Radiator Springs.
