Midway Finds Some Cash to Carry On Operations
Posted by Dread Pirate Guido, 77 days ago Sep 19, 2008 12:28

Midway has found a way to get enough capital to continue operations and get their wares out to the masses thanks to National Amusements who has come to an agreement with them. The fall 2008 games lineup, includes TNA iMPACT!, Blitz: The League II and Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.

Under the terms of the agreement, National Amusements will purchase accounts receivable up to a maximum of $40 million, providing Midway with additional cash flow flexibility for manufacturing. Additional information relating to the agreement can be found on Form 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and available at Midway’s website at investor.midway.com.

$40 million should be enough to carry them through the holiday season which is what I’m betting they are wanting to do. Get the games published and out to the gamers in time for Christmas.
