Stargate Worlds, the massively multiplayer online role playing game based on the popular Stargate series from MGM, will hit another major milestone on Oct. 15 with the launch of closed beta. Signups are ongoing at

Stargate Worlds will be the first game published by FireSky.

The Stargate Worlds Closed Beta will feature a staggered entry as testers are allowed into the game in waves. New areas and archetypes will be added over the course of the play test until all features are thoroughly tested and bugs are found and fixed.

In Stargate Worlds, gamers:

Stargate Worlds is scheduled for an early 2009 launch.
