US games publisher Brash Entertainment has closed its doors for good after running out of money, according to Variety magazine.
The news comes after Brash executives Thomas Tull, Larry Shapiro and Nicholas Longano left the firm last month, blaming the "disappointing" quality of the firm’s titles.
Brash, famed for association with many Hollywood studios, was working on a videogame version of the horror movie Saw.
Variety states: “Several sources have confirmed for me that Brash Entertainment is ceasing operations as of tomorrow. I understand that the investors who had committed $400 million when Brash launched last year have pulled out, so Brash is simply out of cash.”
The future of its current projects, including Saw, has yet to be announced.
