Lizard Interactive has announced that over 200,000 users have registered for NeoFun accounts during the October launch month of its online games portal, with the majority of those registering from North America.

Lizard Interactive developed NeoFun as a platform for partners to more efficiently service and promote a wide variety of online games. Currently, there are two free-to-play MMORPGs available – Cronous and Sho Online. The portal also features the FunFun Arcade which is made up of casual mini games. Lizard Interactive aim is to constantly provide gamers with new and exciting online games through the NeoFun game portal.

The FunFun Arcade medal system proved to be very popular with many players taking advantage of the system. Medals won in FunFun Arcade games can be exchanged for cash points that can be used to buy cash items in the MMORPGs, Cronous and Sho Online.

Of the registered users in NeoFun, 70% are from North America, 20% are from English speaking Asian countries like Singapore and the Philippines, and the rest are from European and South American countries.

Lizard Interactive CEO Sang-wook Lee stated his deep gratitude to gamers around the world who helped to make NeoFun such a huge success. He also announced that “The Land of Magic”, a popular MMORPG title would launch English service through NeoFun in January of 2009.
