Nyko Metal Pedal for Those Popular Music Titles

Nyko Technologies today announced its latest creation, the Metal Pedal. A heavy-duty drum pedal attachment for use with Rock Band 1 and 2, or Guitar Hero: World Tour on all consoles, the Metal Pedal plugs directly into the standard drum set, seamlessly replacing the pack-in pedal and adding a touch of style to your rig. Designed for rugged durability, superior responsiveness, cross-compatibility, and sporting rock’n’roll graphics, the Metal Pedal will be available to try out for the first time ever at CES 2009, and will hit store shelves in January of 2009.

Underneath the armored exterior of the Metal Pedal you will find a sophisticated piece of music-gaming equipment which features:

  • Compatibility with all standard drum controllers for Rock Band 1 and 2 and Guitar Hero: World Tour on all platforms
  • Metal plating for lasting durability
  • Rubber feet to keep the pedal firmly in place
  • Coiled wire keeps the drum kit tangle free
  • Wide base for stable footing and consistent response

“The outcry from gamers for a more durable foot pedal is the type of issue Nyko strives to address,” said Chris Arbogast, Director of Marketing at Nyko Technologies. “The Metal Pedal is a continuation of Nyko’s successful strategy of creating reliable, long-lasting, and affordable alternatives for all fans of music games.”

Nyko’s Metal Pedal is expected to hit store shelves in January of 2009 at an MSRP of $19.99. For more information on these and other Nyko products, please visit: www.nyko.com.
