Wolverine Studios Announces Draft Day Sports: College Basketball
Posted by Wade "TNT" Hinkle, 08/30/2007

Wolverine Studios, a developer of sports simulation games, announced today that Draft Day Sports: College Basketball will be the next title available from Wolverine Studios and is scheduled for a 4th Quarter 2007 release.

Draft Day Sports: College Basketball puts you in the role of a college basketball coach. Recruit players and coach them to the top of the college ranks while helping your coach become a legend in the coaching ranks. Draft Day Sports: College Basketball is the total package for PC sports game fans offering accurate statistical results and a detailed, in-depth game world full of interaction making you feel like you’re right there in the coach’s seat.

“I’m really excited to announce this title,” said Gary Gorski, President of Wolverine Studios.  “Draft Day Sports: College Basketball is building off of my previous work in college basketball simulations and the new features and improvements planned will really take the game to a new level. If you’re looking for a sports game with that ‘one-more-turn’ feel you will want to grab a cold beverage and a comfortable chair when you sit down with Draft Day Sports: College Basketball.”

The game offers single or multiplayer control of up to 337 teams, an enhanced 2D representation of the on court action while coaching games, a multitude of offenses and defenses to shape your team in your own coaching style, a totally revamped, tougher and deeper recruiting mode that allows you all new levels of contact and feedback with potential recruits including the ability to focus more on certain areas of interest than others and even break the rules and offer illegal incentives to prospective recruits with the danger of being caught and punished. Draft Day Sports: College Basketball also features a deep almanac detailing every piece of a team’s history, expanded media coverage sections, brand new player/coach interactions and relationships and a host of other new features. Best of all gamers will be able to move their graduates from Draft Day Sports: College Basketball to Wolverine Studios’ pro basketball simulation Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball and watch their professional careers unfold there.
