In anticipation of the worldwide release of Halo 3, XLEAGUE.TV is offering all of its Halo 2 competition winners the chance to attend Microsoft’s Halo 3 launch party in London on September 25th.

The red carpet affair, hosted by US music superstar Pharrell Williams, will give the lucky few the opportunity to be the very first to see the game and play against their celebrity idols.

The winners will also receive copies of the Halo 3 Legendary Edition, including the highly collectable Spartan helmet, two bonus discs, and artwork. "This is XLEAGUE.TV’s way of rewarding our players who strive to compete at such a high level," says Rob O’Farrell, Senior Producer. "We would like to thank Microsoft and look forward to Halo 3 paving the way for the next level in competitive eSports."

The Halo 3 launch party comes on the eve of XLEAGUE.TV’s Halo 3 Team League, with a prize fund of £10,000. "This is the highest prize we have ever offered for any of our leagues or tournaments," says O’Farrell. "It’s a sign of our faith in the Halo brand, and our commitment to the XLEAGUE.TV community who are huge fans of the game."

The Halo 3 £10,000 Team League launches on September 26th at www.xleague.tv.

XLEAGUE.TV is the UK’s first dedicated eSports channel and fully integrated website launched in May 2007. The revolutionary channel, which broadcasts on Sky channel 279, offers a comprehensive range of services to its members including leagues and tournaments, customisable user profiles, match scheduling and club and team creation. By competing on www.xleague.tv, gamers can win the opportunity to be invited to the studio for the chance to play on television.
