Com2uS, a leading developer and publisher of mobile games, today announced that company CEO Jiyoung Park was named as one of five Entrepreneurs of the Year by Ernst & Young on January 14, 2009 in Seoul, Korea. The 34 year-old female executive was recognized in the special award category for her contributions to elevating mobile games as a key generator of growth in the digital content industry via qualified mobile game brands and innovative business models. Com2uS just celebrated ten years of operations in 2008. The company owns several hit series, including Mini Game Pack, with over seven million accumulated downloads, Super Action Hero, We R Puzzle Family, and Bung-au-pang Tycoon.

"Our company’s innovations and experiences with micro-billing payment systems and massively multiplayer role-playing in mobile games have been gaining attention throughout the industry," said Park. "Being honored with this award reflects the rising status of the mobile digital content business, bringing it in line with other key sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, trading, and heavy industries."
