Rapper Kali Sets The Tone For Midnight Club: Los Angeles South Central

Rockstar Games announced that on March 12th they will release Midnight Club: Los Angeles South Central. The premier trailer displayed slick tricked out cars, L.A. landmarks and new west coast music that bounces in the backdrop and speeds past its listeners with ease. Rollin the featured iconic theme song for the video game, was written and performed by 23 year old rapper Kali, with guest appearances by acclaimed rappers Glasses Malone, Terminology and renowned producer Statik Selektah.

Developed by Rockstar San Diego, Midnight Club: Los Angeles provides a seamless, breathtaking environment for everyone who loves to compete. With no load times, no tracks, and no rules, the game allows players to race at breakneck speeds through an unbelievable recreation of Los Angeles in fully customizable, licensed cars. The "South Central Upgrade Map" features L.A. landmarks such as Exposition Park, the USC campus, Shrine Auditorium, Crenshaw Plaza, and the L.A. Memorial Coliseum and stretches south to the 105 Freeway. In addition to the free new city area, players will be able to purchase the "South Central Content Pack" which includes new character competitions, races, cars and music available in a single complete package.

The trailer and soundtrack is quickly gaining fame from viewers all over the world.

Kali, who provides the opening music credits in the South Central Content Pack, is a lyricist that hails from Orange, CA. He began his career with an appearance on DJ Big Mike’s "The Power Move," his single Rule the Nation took the east coast by storm. From that momentum, he was propelled into the concert circuit opening for celebrated artists the likes of Dj Premier, D-Block, Diplomats, G-Unit, and Roca-Fella. Soon after, Kali took to penning music for gaming, films and independent TV projects across the country. His current lead single Cali Kali a club track that gives nods to classic New York rap and West Coast Hip Hop is generating quite a buzz on local radio stations. Myspace TV is broadcasting live his episodic series Life of the Party and the rapper was recently featured in the OC Weekly magazine for his innovative version of Techno Rap. Showcases are underway in New England, New York, Philadelphia, Florida, Los Angeles, San Diego, Fresno, Oakland, and the Bay Area. Midnight Club: Los Angeles is currently available for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 and is rated T for Teen.
