ION announces that it has launched a new version of the Web site for Drum Rocker, the Official Premium Drum Set for the Rock Band 2 video game. The new Web site is accessible at http://www.drumrocker.com.

Users will enjoy DrumRocker.com’s streamlined, more efficient ordering process, which was designed to reduce the number of necessary steps for placing an order. Personal accounts can now be created on the site, allowing users to log in and check the status of their orders, track order shipments, find out about special offers and review order history at any time.

Customers will appreciate that the new DrumRocker.com enables them to view in-stock status of Drum Rocker and its full line of accessories. They can now enjoy full text and image content about the Drum Rocker accessories that include expansion cymbal and drum pads, a “drum throne” and a sound module to transform their video game controller into a standalone drum set.

Drum Rocker delivers the most realistic drumming experience available to any gamer. It was built by the engineers at Alesis, one of the largest manufacturers of professional electronic drums in the world. As a result, the kit is designed to take a real world beating and provides all the positioning flexibility that professional drummers demand. While other drum controllers lock the player down to a pre-molded plastic array of pads, Drum Rocker’s professional aluminum drum rack lets gamers position their snare, tom and cymbal pads wherever they want. When gamers are ready to move from playing Rock Band to playing in a rock band, they can swap the game controller module with one of the professional drum brains made by Alesis, and they are ready to hit the road for real. Models are available for use with the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 2 and 3 gaming systems.

“Drum Rocker’s Web site is taking a huge step forward with this redesign,” said Jean Alexandre, Senior Web Developer, ION. “Our customers will immediately appreciate the changes we have made to give them more information and better access to it.”

Drum Rocker is available now at drumrocker.com and other retailers including Amazon.com, BestBuy.com and GameStop.com for $299.99.
